Default Lease

Sorry haven't posted much, too depressed.

One thought though, if the lease runs out Thursday at midnight and lets say the council changes the locks. Would Fender have to go to court to get the lock out over turned?

"If a company is in administration and the lease on the business expires then the company continue's to trade from those premisses"

There would seem to be one big hole in this argument. The lease specifically excludes the part of the Act that usually permits continued trading - and this exclusion was approved by the Court when the lease was granted.

After the company is dissolved and has to change its name , will it now be called Bromsg(r?)ove "Squatters" rather than "Rovers".

Can you clarify if you mean the lease being offered to Sporting or the current one about to expire!

Default Goodbye and good riddance.

After tonight's fiasco at The Victoria Ground it looks like the party's finally over!

I wonder how this is going to go down with The Southern League next Monday now it's become apparent that Ward, Herbert and Daniels will now definitely have nowhere to play at the start of the season?

Goodbye and good riddance.

I rather thought (and hoped) that was the case.

So we can take it that they don't even know the terms of their lease?

Mike, Tom and Steve's Bromsgove never had a lease. Something that Steve seems to conveniently ignore.

Given they don't even know the name of the town they play in, that would seem par for the course.

Of course Ward and associates don't have a lease of any sort - the lease until Friday, is controlled by the Administrator. How he expects to hold on to something that doesn't exist after that date and give the benefit to someone else, is an interesting argument. Having sold all the club's assets, what interest does he have in the Victoria Ground ?

Given the haste with which their squating intentions message on their website was taken down does it now seem likely that they have pulled back from making things even more unpleasant

Or maybe they don't want their plans to spread too far before Friday?
